Learning the harp is an enriching experience that can be adapted to all levels and desires. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, it's essential to approach this instrument with serenity and kindness. Lessons offer a peaceful setting where learning takes place at your own pace, without pressure. You'll gradually discover the various techniques and subtleties of the harp, while developing your own musical style. With attentive guidance, every lesson becomes an opportunity to surpass yourself and savor every note you produce. The aim is to share a common passion for music, while creating a space of trust and well-being. With patience and motivation, you can blossom in this fascinating art.
Location
Lessons take place at my studio in LeMoyne (Longueuil). It's also possible to take classes remotely via videoconference. You don't need to bring your harp to class, as I have all the necessary equipment on site.
Lesson duration and frequency
Lessons last from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your level and wishes. For the best learning experience, we recommend that you take one class a week, so that you can follow up your practice on a regular basis.

Lesson options
Depending on your needs and your schedule, you can choose to enroll for a session, a card of 5, 10 or 20 lessons, or individual lessons.
Lessons are generally one-to-one, but we can organize a pair lesson with two students of equal level if you wish.
Instrument
It is necessary to have an instrument at home to practice with between lessons to encourage learning. We have a number of harps available for hire, please contact us for availability.
Maison Glissando and Long&McQuade also rent harps. For beginners, a 27-string harp will suffice. Later, a 34-string harp will be required.
Lesson outline
Our teaching is comprehensive and includes music theory, instrumental technique, musical expressiveness, body awareness, rhythmic work and creativity through improvisation and composition. Learning music should be a pleasure, so classes are held in a friendly, good-humored atmosphere!
Rates
You can contact us to find out the rates for the different packages. Lessons are tax-deductible as leisure activities for children. Our invoices will enable you to make this claim.
